Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of development and the effect of development in Bukit Sekipan on the increase in the number of tourist visits in Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative, using data collection techniques, namely methods of observation, interviews, and documents. The results of the study explain that (1) the impact of the development of Bukit Sekipan has been carried out through 4A (Attractions, Accessibility, Amenities, and Activities) which support starting from photo spot tours, rides tours. (2) there is an influence on the increase in the number of tourist visits, the result is that the level of tourist visits in Bukit Sekipan has not been stable. This can be seen from the yenag data that has been obtained, namely from 2015 to August 2020 and tourist visits in Bukit Sekipan have not increased significantly and have tended to decline after the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
