PERANAN STOREKEEPER DALAM PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAN LOGISTIK TERHADAP KELANCARAN OPERASIONAL HOTEL HARIS BATAM CENTER

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of inventory control, which can improve the quality of service and enhance the operational efficiency of Harris Hotel Batam Center. The author employs qualitative research, with a population of two people and a sample size of eight individuals. The sources of data used include primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observations, and documentation conducted at Harris Batam Center in Batam. The role of the storekeeper at the hotel involves receiving goods, storing items, distributing goods, inventory management, recording damaged items, reporting stock conditions, teamwork, and making informed decisions. The storekeeper's role in this control process has been well-executed, structured, and programmed. The implementation of these various tasks has a significant impact on the hotel, including financial and operational efficiency, and it contributes to the smooth operation of Harris Hotel Batam Center. When hotel operations run smoothly, the entire management team is pleased, enabling the company to achieve its maximum goals.
