Abstract

Application of the Wellness Tourism Dimension to the Wellness Tourism Activity Program at the Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, Karanganyar Regency. Diploma IV Program in Tourism Sahid College of Tourism Surakarta. Rumah Atsiri Indonesia is a tourist destination that has a concept as an aromatic wellness destination which is quite different from other tourist attractions. The wellness concept applied by Rumah Atsiri Indonesia is to offer a fitness activity program that can be followed and has been adapted to the dimensions of wellness. The focus in this research is the application of the wellness dimension to the fitness tourism activity program at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia and the obstacles faced when applying the wellness dimension. The purpose of the research is to find out how the fitness tourism activity program at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia is and the obstacles faced in the application of the wellness dimension. This study uses a qualitative approach and the research results are described descriptively. The data obtained from the research was developed in the form of scientific writing in accordance with the reality in the field. Data was collected by direct observation at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, interviews with staff and visitors, and documentation. The result of this research is that the activity program at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia is guided by 6 dimensions of wellness that are in accordance with the concept of aromatic wellness destinations. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the fitness activity program at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia can be carried out by visitors to support fitness but has obstacles, namely the lack of human resources and activity participants who do not follow the program optimally
